Racing Bio

Jasmine “The Panda” Nichols is a 19-year-old female road racer from Chariton, Iowa. She is currently in her 8th official season of competition.

Before February 2017, Jasmine had never ridden a motorcycle, only experiencing it as a passenger on the back of her dad’s bike. However, after learning the basics of motorcycle operation, she completed her first year of MiniGP racing in 2017, finishing 5th in northern California (there was no official southern California racing that season). In 2018, she improved her performance, securing 4th place in northern California and 2nd place in southern California.

Jasmine received personal training from Young Lee, the owner of M1GP, from May 2017 to January 2020. In August 2019, she participated in the first official National Ohvale Cup Race at MotoAmerica’s Round 8 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This event showcased the best talent from the MiniGP circuit in America, and Jasmine finished within the top 10.

In late 2019, Jasmine demonstrated drills, promoted the program, and instructed participants during the M1GP Rider Clinics at the annual Babe’s Ride Out event in Santa Margarita, California.

Since then, Jasmine has competed in and secured several championships within the AFM and CRA. She has raced with MotoAmerica and plans to continue her training as she progresses through the ranks. She currently pilots a Kawasaki ZX6R.
